Proudest moment

     It was hard to think of my absolute proudest moment of all time. There has been quite a few proud moments in my life but i think my proudest moment would be 8th grade graduation. As if finally being able to complete middle school wasn't exciting enough i also was the class salutatorian. That is, for everyone that doesn't know, the person in class with the second best grades. For this i was able to get an award and then i also got another additional award for academic achievement from the local Rotary club. I felt an amazing feeling of pride and accomplishment. I felt like i had really set the stage for things to come in high school. Well that's my proudest moment and I look forward to reading about your guys's as well :)

Music

Here in america we have lots of different kinds of music and artists, as I'm sure you do in Morocco. For example, Kendrick Lamar is a very popular rap artist. He has many hit singles such as, Poetic justice, MAAD city, and Don't Kill My Vibe. Lamar is one of the most popular rap artists in America today. However he is often criticized for his use of profanity and such.This however has not hindered his success. His music is so popular in fact, that many of his songs have been remix and gained wide spread popularity as well. Another good band is the Scorpions. They're a 1980's rock band out of Germany. Throughout their long and illustrious career they spawned many hit songs such as, No one like you and Rock you like a hurricane. Well those are some of my favorite bands and i'm looking forward to seeing what some of yours are :).

Life Goals.

Well first off, i gotta finish high school. Then, i guess i could go anywhere from there. I honestly still don't know what i want to be. I've thought about it a lot but i always come up blank. I just don't know what i want to do or be. I always thought architecture would be interesting but i'm terrible at math. Maybe i should like do reporting or journalism or something because i'm a pretty decent writer. But i really don't know. What i do know is that i'm gonna go to a 4 year collage. But that brings up another problem. I don't know where. Oh decisions decisions. It'll all work out i guess.

Books and Authors

     Hey everyone, hows it going? Me and the rest of our school just returned after the long Christmas Break, and I have to say that its proving to be quite a challenge. Anyways, the topic of this post is books and your favorite authors. Personally i like to read adventure type books and the like by authors like Stephen King. Also, in my class we're now reading Things Fall Apart, which is a story about the life and society of the Igbo people of Africa and their first contacts with European explorers. For a book assigned to the class its actually not that bad. So, tell me, what kind of books do you guys like and what are your favorite authors? Lemme know :).   

Holiday time

     Hey everyone :) Its currently the holiday season here in America. We just got back from a major American holiday called Thanksgiving. Its where we all get together and have a big feast in celebration of a feast that the Pilgrims had with the Indians hundreds of years ago. However our next holiday, Christmas, is my favorite. My family does most of the traditional things like cut a tree and decorate it, have a dinner, give presents, and just has fun all round. I personally think its the best time of the year. Whats your guys favorite holiday? Lemme know :)  

     whats up everyone? This is my first post on my new blog. I'm a 15 year old guy. I'm an American from Fortuna California. My pastimes include sports, listing to music, and hanging out with friends. It's great to get to connect with you guys and I hope we get to learn more about each other. hopefully we can learn a lot about each other through this program.
     This is the first time I've had the chance to connect with people outside of the U.S.. I wonder if Morocco is very similar to here.What are some of your guys's pastimes? Do you guys have any hobbies or sports you guys like to play? Here in America American style football and baseball are major sports. I play football but i'm not very good at it :) Can't wait to get a response from you guys.
